Yep so here is teh story. We took in this girl who used to hang with my sister for about 4 days about a month ago. she needed a place to stay, and was friends with my sister at the time. Fast forward and here we are now: we got a notice in the mail about 5 days ago stating that someone was using a credit card number of ours on the internet. The address was hers. Reported it to the cops, they couldnt do anything, although we did get reimbursed by the credit card company. 2 days later we are all sitting around goin, what else could she have stolen. So i check on the 1500 dollars cash i had stashed in the back of my closet behind a bunch of boxes and stuff, and i was three hundred short and could tell it was disturbed.
now here we are today: Monday i deposited the remaining 1200 in the bank, and Tuesday, while we were all out to school/work/ect. she broke into our house, stole a bunch of *** and smashed a bunch of *** as well. Cops came, we told them the story and they said there was nothing to be done. On top of that, the part of my closet that had the money was all torn into, cause they were looking for that easy payout. Im really really angry, but at the same time, paranoid as *** now, because as soon as we leave our house unattended, whoever was in here yesterday knows just about all the things i have. My 7000+ dollar drumkit, the thousands of dollars of tools. What the *** is this world coming to when you cant even catch a 17 YEAR OLD who breaks into your house.
just my rant

ummm wow I have several immediate responses that I probably shouldn't write because they are not so "nice" and "friendly" if you know what I mean.
so sorry to hear about all that.
1. where is she staying during all this? Show up at her doorstep. hello, we need to chat about some stuff.
2. Noone enters your house, that is your territory and when someone crosses that line, you have a right to be angry, a right to defend yourself. Stand guard and keep watch, and if/when they cross the line, they're in your hands now.
3. Regards the police. Actually I see a blog coming.
Again, very sorry to hear that.

hey, all good. Its no one's fault. She is staying at an unknown location, hence the reason we cant proove she did it by tracking her down and searching for the goods. Second of all, i waited inside the house all day long, with my bat by my side, with my car parked around the corner, hoping she was stupid enough to come back. Shes on a road to prison for sure, i just hope she gets whats coming before she tries to hit my house again. For her sake as well as for mine.
on the bright side, she didnt touch the tools or the car or my drums, so things are ok. she didnt vandalize the house beyond just ransacking a couple rooms. she could have devestated things.
