Flipping the leaf springs (Please Help!!!)

I have an 86 b2000 and right now i have it dropped on lower control arms in the front and 4inch blocks in the back. I want to get rid of the blocks and i have herd about guys flipping the leafs over.  But it really just cant be that simple can it?  I someone with more knowlege about this subject could help me out it would be much appriciated.  

I think you mean running a flip kit?
It does not require you to flip the springs just the location of the axle(take it and make it sit on the springs).And all a flip kit is a lowering block with a half circle cut out on one side(most times)

They do ride worse than just blocks, if that matters.

Well not quite but any who,  i've also herd about guys taking the leaf pack and removing all the leafs exept for the main leaf and the overload leaf.  And then putting the overload on the bottom with some 2-3 inch blocks.  Which setup do you recomend, because i dont have the money to go the bagged route.

I didnt care,as long as i got lower ,Isall good!!
I would prob go with the monoleaf setup.
Reason 1 is that you dont got the cash!
reason 2 is I wouldnt want you to waste the cash you got on a flip kit.
DO THIS While the leafs are not on the truck!!
Just bend the clips that hold em together and get to whacking!! remove all but the main hanger and the lil overload leaf(which should be at the bottom).I have a friend thats been mono for 3 yrs with no probs except a lil sagginess in the springs shape.
Note that i would do this If your intension are to bag it in the near (1-2 yrs)future.NOt like my friend, Friggin procrastinator.If you wanna be just low i would invest in a flip kit.

Get some 3-4" blocks with pinion angle cuts.
You will get less vibs!

yea cause once you take those leafs out your puttin frame on axle and all you do is bounce cause thats how mine is. horrible ride but its low.  

But its low!!!! Thats all that matters right?

yea thats all that matters you came in at the right time lol atleast to me i dont care about the ride as long as i can be on the ground cause i can only make it better

they dont make flip kits for mazdas, the rear end is already over-leaf. though it is possible to flip your leaf springs upside down, but youll be sittin on bumpstops. mine was actually bagged on monoleafs that were flipped upside down. which was pretty cool cuz my wheels would lift off the ground when i laid out. sometimes i would leave my truck in gear idling when running into stores kinda freiked people out seein the wheels spinning. talk about true spinners

you don't want to flip the spring upside down.  

hey man if you flip the leafs you have to re drill the alignment holes 2 3/4 of an inch towards the rear wou dont need blocks or over load springs

you dont need to flip them at all you just have to take out the bottom leaf cause thats where all the support is. thats what mine is with 3 inch blocks and mine is on the bump stops but like the other guy said you need the intention of doin something with is in 1-2 years cause they get weak

Yes because it will not bottom out on the frame and its one big step into bagging it.2 birds 1 stone eh.
